Professor Teruhisa Ohno obtained a bachelor's degree from Kyushu University in 1983 and a doctoral degree in artificial B12 enzyme development from Kyushu University in 1988. He serves as an editorial board member for the journal Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, as well as a member of the Environment and International Organization Committee for the European Conference on Solar Chemistry and Photocatalysis, the International Conference on Semiconductor Photochemistry, and the International Conference on Semiconductor Photocatalysis and Solar Conversion. He has nearly 35 years of professional experience in developing photocatalysts for environmental purification and energy conversion, and his research in developing visible light responsive photocatalysts for disinfection and antifungal purposes has significant market influence. Has been awarded the title of General Most Frequently Cited Author and other honors three times in Applied Catalysis A. 46 patents, 10 monographs, and 203 papers have been published.
