Short Bio:
Hajime Ito, Professor at Hokkaido University, obtained bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from Kyoto University from 1987 to 1996; Subsequently, worked as an assistant professor at Tsukuba University for three years; In 1999, Professor Ito works as a research assistant at the Institute of Molecular Science and the Scripps Institute, respectively. In 2002, Professor Ito joined Hokkaido University as an associate professor and was promoted to professor in 2010. Since 2018, he has served as the Deputy Director of the Institute for Chemical Reaction Design and Discovery (ICReDD) at Hokkaido University.
As of now, it has been published in Science, He has published more than 230 papers in important academic journals such as Nature Chem., Nature Commun., Angelw Chem. Int. Ed., J. Am. Chem. Soc., and has cited them more than 11280 times, H-factor 57.
