A new label-free strategy for highly efficient chemiluminescence immunoassay

Abstract: A new label-free chemiluminescence (CL) immunoassay method is proposed for the cheap, convenient and sensitive detection of proteins through the co-immobilization of a capture antibody and horseradish peroxidase on a sensing interface. The specific immunoreaction on the interface effectively inhibits the enzymatic CL reaction, thus causing a decrease in CL signals. This research opens a new avenue for constructing a label-free CL immunosening system and will result in the innovation of a CL immunoassay technique.
